EMERGENCY SERVICE
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
The best advice we can give our patients is to not wait until they have pain to visit us. Nothing is better than prevention. Often the fear of dental treatments leads patients to avoid the signs and symptoms pointing that there might be something wrong with their teeth. More than anything we want to treat small emergencies before they progress and become more severe.
We will do our best to make your emergency visit as simple as possible and relieve you to give you back your comfort. Don’t forget we offer the option of dental treatments under sedation. However, we also see emergency patients not because they have been avoiding the dentist but for different reasons (an accident, pain following surgery, infection in the mouth).
Signs and symptoms to watch for
Pay special attention to your teeth and gums in an emergency. At home, you can examine your mouth for the following signs and symptoms:
- Sensitive teeth
- Gum that is inflamed, painful or bleeding regularly
- A tooth changing color
- Bad taste in the mouth
- Jaw pain
- Swelling in the face
When one of these signs appears, reach out to us and explain your situation. Depending on the case and the severity of your condition, we will be able to meet your needs and give you an emergency appointment as soon as possible.
